Listen to Obituary

Timothy Shawn “Goober” Fuller, age 60, of Saranac, passed away peacefully under the care of hospice and his loving family on, September 25, 2025. Tim was born on November 4, 1964, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of Clarence W. and Elizabeth E. (Bruinekool) Fuller Jr. He attended Belding Schools and worked as an over the road truck driver, most recently for Great Lakes Trucking hauling food products. Tim was a long-time member of the Sons of the American Legion in Belding and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and working in the yard caring for the acreage around his home. As he looked down the road to his eventual retirement, he had hoped to open a small landscape business to keep busy during the summer months doing something he loved. While Tim was away from home much of the time due to his work, he looked forward to his weekends and other time off so he could spend as time as possible with family and friends. He loved his family and his great group of friends. His nieces and nephews could not have asked for a more fantastic uncle. He had a special place in his heart for the Christmas season and hosted Christmas parties in Lowell at which he would make sure that everyone was able to eat and got a stocking or something to celebrate the season. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Tim will be remembered by his dear family including a daughter of the heart, Dorothy Denman of Texas and her children, Anna, Lupe, and Noel, who he always treated like grandchildren; siblings, Michael Fuller of Belding, Kathleen Hill of Texas, Sharon Applegate of Michigan, Jo Clemens of Rockford, Colleen Fuller of Belding Patrick Fuller of Belding and Tami (Wayne) Geiger of Smyrna; a special friend, Wendy Mercado of Texas; dozens of special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; He was preceded in death by his dad, Clarence Fuller, Jr., and his mom, Elizabeth E. Smith; his stepfather, Joe Smith; a nephew, Mark See, a great nephew Andon Wright, and brothers-in-law Ed Hill and Thomas Clemens.
