In Loving Memory of Sara Perdok (Bruinekool).
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Sara Perdok, who left this world at the age of 56, after a battle with frontal lobe dementia. She passed peacefully at home under hospice care, with her family by her side. Sara was a devoted and loving mother to three children—Tyler Nowak, Jessica Talaski, and Zackery Perdok—who were her greatest pride and joy. She married Bruce C. Perdok in Ada, Michigan on July 22, 2000, and poured her heart into her family, creating a home full of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Sara had a true gift for creativity and found joy in crafting—Sara was always making something beautiful with her hands. But more than anything, she cherished time shared with family. From holidays and simple, everyday moments to inside jokes and long hugs, Sara knew how to make people feel special and deeply loved. Her sense of humor was one of a kind, and her laughter could light up an entire room. She had a way of bringing comfort, joy, and humor into the lives of others, even when life was hard. Sara’s strength, wit, and boundless love made her unforgettable.
In addition to her loving husband, Bruce Perdok, her children Tyler (MacKenzi) Nowak of Lowell, Jessica (Brian) Talaski of Belding, and Zackery Perdok of Belding, she is survived by her grandchildren, Blake, Hadlee, and Landon, her mother and father in law, Charles and Harriet Perdok, her sisters, Joni Parcher and Amy Bruinekool, and many other dear family members and friends whose lives were made better by knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth J. and Linda Kay (Everling) Bruinekool; a brother-in-law Gary Parcher and an aunt, Nancy Bronsema.
Though the last year of Sara’s life was marked by the onset of dementia, it does not define her. She will be remembered by everyone who knew her for the vibrant, caring, and creative soul she truly was. Sara’s love will live on in the lives of those she touched. She will be missed deeply, remembered always, and loved forever.
A celebration of Sara’s life will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Verdun Family Funeral Home, 303 S. Bridge Street, Belding. Her family will greet visitors beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the Service, led by Pastor Paul Hulford will begin at 1:00 p.m. Private Burial will take place at Marble Cemetery. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution to honor Sara’s life are welcomed to consider a donation to Corewell Health Hospice in her memory.
