Patricia A. Rolston

Patricia Ann Rolston, age 75, of Reed City, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Corewell Health – Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, following a brief illness. She was born on March 29, 1951, in Big Rapids, Michigan, daughter of Richard and Elsie (Kage) Rolston, both of whom preceded her in death. Patricia was born in Big Rapids and relocated to Reed City with her family while in her youth. She graduated from Reed City High School with the Class Of 1969, and worked for many years at the Reed City Glove Factory and later at Nabco Manufacturing from where she retired several years ago. Patricia was fond of all cats and dogs, especially her current dog and faithful companion, Toby. She was a big country music fan and went to concerts whenever she could. She also enjoyed an evening out for a trip to the theater to take in a good movie. She was always up for a road trip with her dear cousin Mark and her best friend, Barb Shepherd, both of whom will miss Patricia dearly. When she wasn’t out on an adventure, she enjoyed playing games of all varieties and other activities on her phone.

Patricia leaves an aunt, Ruby Rolston of Hersey; and host of cousins and several friends to cherish the many memories they shared with her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Nancy Rolston and many aunts and uncles.

Services will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 4151 Wild Turkey Trail, Reed City, Michigan 49677, with Pastor Lee Lennox officiating. The family will greet visitors beginning at 11 AM and the Service will begin at 12 Noon. A luncheon will follow the service at the Church. Burial next to her parents at Meida Cemetery will follow the luncheon. Those wishing to express sympathy are welcome to consider a donation in Patricia’s memory to Corewell Health Hospice or First Baptist Church of Reed City. Envelopes will be available at the service.
