Margaret Marilyn (Cooper) Antcliff, age 92, of Belding, passed away peacefully under hospice care on Thursday, January 15, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on August 27, 1933, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, daughter of Clyde Jacob and Elsie May (Sheldon) Cooper, both of whom preceded her in death. She attended Belding schools, graduating with the Class of 1953. She married Claude Antcliff in Belding on March 27, 1954, and together they soon started their family. After the children were raised, she worked for both the General Motors plant on Alpine Avenue in Grand Rapids and the Chrysler plant in Lyons. Margaret loved Pepsi and enjoyed traveling whenever she could. She had a habit of saving every quarter that she received back in change when she bought anything and she would use the stash of quarters to fund her trips and adventures. She attended New Hope Church of God in Belding for many years and loved her church family. Most of all she loved the Lord.
Margaret will be missed and remembered by her dear family including her children, David Antcliff of Greenville, and Margaret Hudson of Belding; grandchildren Courtney Smith of Muskegon, and Casey Hudson of Huntington, Indiana; great grandchildren Sierra, Lucas, Kelton, Falon, and John III; a great-great granddaughter Kaleia; a sister Ruth Kaptain of Hudsonville; a sister-in-law Eula Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and neighbors from Belding. In addition to her parents and husband, Claude, Margaret was preceded in death her brothers Orville, Ervin, and George, her sister, Judeika; and a brother-in-law Reuben.
