Jerry A. Davis

Jerry Davis, age 78, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Muskegon, Michigan. Born on June 20, 1947, in Muskegon, he graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1965. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Airforce, where he served honorably for two years.

In 1967, Jerry began working at Misco-now known as Howmet Aerospace-where he remained a loyal employee until his retirement. His nearly four decades of service reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. On July 27th, 1975, Jerry married the love of his life, Denise Philo.

Known for his friendly nature, Jerry found joy in simple pleasures. He was a familiar face at many local restaurants around Muskegon, where he dined regularly with family and friends. His ability to remember the names of nearly every waitstaff member spoke to his genuine interest in others.

Jerry had a fondness for classic Americana. He enjoyed watching old westerns and cheering on his favorite sports teams. His passion for old cars and trains was well known among those close to him, as was his love for country music.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Denise, his parents Martin and Ruth Davis, and his brother James. He is survived by his sisters Linda (Rick) Holzbauer and Susan (David) McCann; nephew Martin (Holly) Davis; Andrea (Pete) Pulos; and numerous cousins and extended family members.

Jerry's life was one of quiet dedication-to his family, to his church, and to the everyday moments that brought him happiness. A special thanks to Pastor Casey for taking such good care of Jerry.

A Visitation will be held on July 27, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Grace Assembly of God 2956 E Pontaluna Rd. followed by a Memorial Service from 03:00 PM to 03:30 PM.
