Jeffery A. Haller

Jeffery Allen Haller, age 54, of Greenville, passed away peacefully at Corewell Health – Butterworth Hospital on July 24, 2026. He was born on July 30, 1971, in Greenville, Michigan, son of Warren Cazier and Mary Blackmer. He attended Central Montcalm Schools and worked for many years as a tree trimming specialist contracted with the Consumer’s Power company to help restore service following storms. He was skilled at his trade and progressed to the level of foreman prior to retiring. Jeffery married Thea Charmel Cardoza on October 25, 1992, in Crystal, Michigan has shared 33 years of marriage with her. Although he had health and mobility challenges for a number of years, the addition of grandchildren to his life gave him a new outlook and level of energy that allowed him to enjoy many activities that he had previously through were out of reach. Jeff dearly loved his family and every moment of time he was able to spend with them, particularly the grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Thea, and father Warren, Jeff leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Devon Cardoza of Petoskey and Jeffrey Haller II of Carson City; grandchildren, Garrett Robinson, Scout Cardoza, Graycen Haller, James Haller, and Sawyer Cardoza; siblings, Brandi Martin of Greenville and Jeanie Martin of Sheridan; his father- and mother-in-law, Paul and Linda Cardoza; a sister-in-law, Shawn Haller of Stanton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Terry Haller; a nephew, Todd Haller; and his stepfather John Martin.
