Jamie Joe Brown, age 45, of Sidney, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1980, in Ionia, Michigan, son of, son of Jerry L. Rodgers and Connie Jean Brown. He attended Saranac Schools and worked for many years as a machine maintenance technician for manufacturers including Superior Furniture, Lacks Industries and Ross Kam food processing. He was also one of the friendly faces at Farro’s Pizza in Lowell for a time. He attended Church near Sidney. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jamie is survived by his father, Jerry L. (Melody) Rodgers of Lowell; his mother Connie (Mike) Cleary of Pheonix, AZ; daughters, Kayla (Quinn Currigan) Lange of Muir, MI, Breanna (Jordan Mangus) Brown of Ada, and Molly (Hunter O’Connor) Brown of Orleans; grandchildren, Payton, Paxton, Parker, Wren, Millie, Vincent, and Beatrice; siblings, Matthew Rodgers of Orleans, MI, Chandra (Mark) Sobleski of Mesa, AZ, Jerry Sobleski, Kendra (Steve) Thebo of Howard City, and Amber (Robert Bryce) Rodgers of Owosso, MI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 12 Noon at River Ridge Cemetery, Belding with Pastor Zach Nyhuis officiating.
