Helen Faye Hoover, age 81, of Belding, formerly of Grandville and Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born in Grand Rapids, daughter of Albert Lee and Avis Arvilla (Snyder) Little, both of whom preceded her in death. Helen graduated from Sparta High School with the Class of 1957. She worked for more than 50 years as a Bookkeeper for Kenowa Lumber Company. She kept busy with several pastimes in retirement and joined the Red Hat Society, which provided plenty of opportunity for mischief and fun. She relocated to Belding in the last year to live with family.
Helen leaves her son, Michael L. (Sonya) Burns of Fruitport; a grandson, Derrick Burns of Belding and a great granddaughter, Kinsley Rose; a brother, Kenneth Little of Grand Rapids; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Diane, Betty, Randy and Albert.
