Daniel Gordon Fisher, age 62, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Monday, June 15, 2026. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on April 1, 1964, son of Gordon Daniel and Carol Lee (Miller) Fisher, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Kelloggsville Schools and worked in several restaurants in and around Grand Rapids over the years. He was an avid fisherman, and loved the martial arts, participating in karate throughout most of his life.
Daniel leaves behind to mourn his passing, his siblings, Sharon Garza of Lowell, Randy (Grace) Fisher of Big Rapids, and Jeff Fisher of Belding; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Gena L. Fisher.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the Fallasburg Park Pavilion, north of Lowell, on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are welcome to consider a memorial contribution in Daniel’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
