Cynthia Dawn “Cindy” Walkup

Cynthia Dawn “Cindy” Walkup, age 66, of Houghton Lake, passed away at home under hospice care on January 1, 2017. She was born on December 10, 1950, in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Gerald and Grace Annabel (Phinney) Stardevant.

Cindy leaves three sons to cherish her memory, Christopher Walkup, Thomas James “TJ” Walkup and Anthony King; grandchildren, Alexandra, Tagan, Thomas and Austin; five sisters; and many, many dear friends. She was a Teacher’s Aide for many years and settled in Houghton Lake to enjoy retirement. Cindy was an active and dedicated member of the Houghton Lake Moose Lodge.

A Life Celebration and Memorial Luncheon is being planned for a later date.
