Brian Francis Terry, age 64, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 13, 2024, in Rockford, Michigan. He was born on July 5, 1959, in Greenville, Michigan, son of Stanley J. and Marguerite (Vlahas) Terry, both of whom preceded him in death. Brian graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1977 and served his country in the National Guard as a member of the 1073rd Infantry unit in Greenville, deploying with his comrades to serve in Operation Desert Storm. He also worked in several capacities at Antcliff Towing in Belding, including Tow Truck Driver and dispatcher. Brian enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and fellow veterans. He was an active, long term, member of the Belding VFW Post, where many people will know him from working at the weekly BINGO fundraisers. He loved to cook and worked as a cook at the Driftway for a few years. Even recently, he would spend the day making a big pot of soup or other recipe and then drive containers around to share with family and friends.
Brian is survived by his siblings, Mary (William) Zigmont of Lowell, Chris Terry of New Jersey, Greg (Angie) Terry of Belding, Kathryn Duffield of Belding and Barb (Roger) Arnzen of Washington; several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews; and many cousins and friends.
