Teresa Ann Devereaux

Teresa A. Devereaux, age 49, of Coral, formerly of Ionia, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, October 16, 2022. She was born on February 5, 1973, in Belding Michigan, daughter of Larry D. and Terry K. (Adair) Devereaux. Teresa attended Ionia Schools, graduating with the Class of 1990, and completed college coursework in Culinary Arts. She worked several different jobs, including at KFC in Ionia, but her favorite was working as a delivery person for Uber, which provided the freedom she enjoyed and got her out and about. Teresa was a Life Member of the VFW Auxiliary enjoying many activities at both the Ionia and Howard City / Lakeview Posts. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many television shows but always loved an opportunity to get out and about rather than being “cooped” up at home. Teresa also loved her pets including the several cats that were always hanging around and her dog, Emilio, who passed sway recently.

Teresa, leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Terry K. Devereaux of Coral; siblings, twin brother, Larry D. Devereaux II, Christopher (Jennifer) David Devereaux of Ionia; and Krystal, Marie (Craig) Emmons of Ionia; nieces & nephews Dalton, Heaven, Alanah, Willow, and Ember; aunts & uncles Ronald (Kathy) of Belding, Debra of Mt. Pleasant and Dawn of Michigan, Trudy (Clay) Watson of east Lansing, Monica Adair of Ionia, Denise (Randy) Shattuck of Ionia, Raymond “Jr.” Adair of Florida, Stuart Buckley of Lake Odessa and Larieta (Chuck) Raison of Baldwin; and several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Larry D. Devereaux in 2015, several grandparents, and uncles Darrel Jr., Michael and Gary Devereaux, Max and Phil Adair and Roy Buckley.
