Steven G. “Pete” Reynolds, age 65, of Orleans, passed away at home on Saturday afternoon, December 12, 2020, following a brief cancer illness, under hospice care, surrounded by his loving family. Steven was born on July 29, 1955, in Ionia, Michigan a son of Kenneth Lee and Anita Kathryn (Beckhorn) Reynolds, both of whom precede him in death. He attended Ionia Schools, completing his coursework with the Class of 1974, and then served his country in the United States Navy. He married Beth Ann Manley on November 6, 1987, in Ionia and they shared 33 years of marriage. He worked for more than ten years at Amway Corporation and more recently worked for nearly twenty years at Mueller Brass, retiring in July of this year. Pete was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping and all outdoor activities. He was a faithful attendee of the Wheatland Music Festival having attended more than thirty of the last thirty-five years of the event. Pete might also be considered a founding member of Fantasy Football League, having participated in the “sport” from the very beginning. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Pete will be remembered by his dear wife, Beth; children, Alex (Jes May) Reynolds of Ionia and Angie Roberts of Ionia; grandchildren Brennen Harvey and Jadyn Rowley with another one on the way; siblings, Mike (Beth) Reynolds of Kentwood, Linda (Jim) Roberts of Roseville and Christine (David) Epler of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services with be observed by Pete’s family. Those wishing to express their sympathy are welcomed to consider a donation in Pete’s memory to the wishes of the family.
