Joseph Alan Cope

Joseph Alan Cope, age 40, of White Cloud, passed away at home on Wednesday afternoon, July 6, 2022, under hospice care surrounded by family who loved him. He was born on December 4, 1981 in Landstuhl, Germany to Randall Jay and Barbara Jean (Comstock) Cope. Joe graduated from Tri-County High School in Howard City, following which he served his country in the United States Army. He was always mechanically inclined and could be found working on or tinkering with cars, motorcycles snowmobiles and more. That ability to fix or troubleshoot machinery, led him to a career as a technician in robotics and manufacturing. He loved spending time outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Joe is survived by his children; Nikkole Irene Cope of Sparta and Curtis Jay Cope; his parents, Barbara J. Rosenberger of White Cloud and Randall Jay Cope of Holland; his step-father, Ted Rosenberger of Standale; grandparents, June Comstock of White Cloud and William Comstock of Greenville; siblings Charles (Wendy) Cope of Richland and James C. (Helena) Rosenberger of Standale. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chester Cope and Ruth Bark and his stepmother, Linda Cope.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 1689 E. Monroe Street, White Cloud, Michigan 49349.
