Jeanie D. Magnan

February 2, 1963 — July 10, 2022

Jeanie Dae Magnan, age 59, of Belding, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 10, 2022, at Spectrum Health – United Memorial Hospital in Greenville, Michigan. She was born on February 2, 1963, in Hopkins, Michigan, the youngest of nine children born to Vernal Nicholas and Wanda Elizabeth (Drake) Magnan, both of whom preceded her in death. Jeanie attended Byron Center High School with the Class of 1981. Following high school, she worked in several capacities however, she was a caregiver at heart and most of her life was devoted to in home health care. When she was nine years old, she met William J. Adams and they became lifelong friends. While they were in their teens, they knew they were soulmates, and their love has lasted a lifetime. Jeanie was an avid television watcher, and loved many shows including Zena Warrior Princess, Days of Our Lives, Supernatural, and one of her all-time favorites, Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. She also loved to get out of the house for an adventure on the motorcycle with Bill or just to make a trip to the store to buy a winning scratch-off ticket. She had a great love for her dogs, including her current dog, Mighty B, and Double D, who, sadly, passed away recently, and she was almost never found without wearing one of her trendsetting headbands or bandanas. Jeanie will truly be missed by all who knew her.

The memory of Jeanie will be cherished by her husband, William J. Adams; her children Nicholas L. Magnan of White Cloud, James A. Barbara) Magnan of Belding, Joseph W. Magnan of Belding, Bradley S (Stacie) Magnan of Greenville and Jeannie M. (Brandon Raney) Adams of Ionia; her dear grandchildren, Nicholas (Megan Whitney), Andrew, Annastasia, Mya, Neveah, Jonathon, Erick, Kira, Lyndsey, Skylee, Savannah, Jaycob, Jadden, Kailynn and Audree; her siblings, Kathy (Donald) Roelofs, Rande Burnham , Robert Magnan, Vernon Magnan and Alma (Lawrence Persons) Magnan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frederick; a granddaughter, Abigail; and siblings William, Terry, and Robert

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Verdun Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 303 S. Bridge Street, Belding, Michigan 48809.
