Barbara Ann Krick

Barbara Ann “Barb” (Casey) Krick, age 61, of Saranac, formerly of Belding, passed away, unexpectedly at home, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was born in Seymour, Indiana, on May 9, 1960, daughter of James Edward and June (Jones) Casey. Barb’s family relocated to Michigan while she was in her youth, and she was raised by her parents June and Jack Rosier. She attended school in both Michigan and Indiana. She was a good student and knew the value of life-long learning, as evidenced by her recent return to the classroom to further her education. She married Ross Lee Krick on, March 21, 1980, and has shared 42 years of marriage with him. While raising the children and managing their family home was her primary focus, she did work for a time at her brother's business which produced and finished custom fiberglass automotive accessories. Barb enjoyed crocheting, reading and many outdoor activities including hiking camping and walking her dog, Lily. She had an artistic flair as well, painting and coloring in various mediums. All things considered, spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, would probably be her favorite pastime.

Barb leaves her dear family to mourn her passing including her beloved husband, Ross, her three children, Janelle (Marty) Spencer, Heather (Matt) Jackson and Dustin Krick, all of Belding; grandchildren Hannah (Caleb) Dutcher, Anastasia Denisenova, Chloe Spencer, Abbigayle Spencer, Andrew Jackson, Chance Jackson, Nolan Spencer, Logan Cranmer, Nathan Jackson, Riley Spencer and Rory Krick; her dear mother June Rosier of Crystal; her father, James Casey of Indiana; several siblings residing in Michigan and Indiana; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jack Rosier.

The family will host a Life Celebration Gathering on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and service beginning at 6:00p.m. with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating, at Verdun Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 303 S. Bridge Street, Belding, Michigan 48809.
