Ironically, we saw those same traits in our funeral director, and we know Gene would have appreciated all that both of you did for Barb and her family. Jeff, my husband and father to our two young children recently passed away from major injuries in a car accident. We were all in shock and intense grief over losing him. All our family and friends who met Mike Verdun and his employees were so impressed by their genuine concern and their willingness to bear our burden with us. Mike continues to be helpful in so many ways even though our business with him is through. God has given Mike the gift of compassion and in all our dealings with him, he was so honest, caring, and always trustworthy. I highly recommend his services. I don't know what I would have done without him. He is truly a God-send! Thank you!!!!!

Mike,

I wanted to take the time to say thank you for making what could have been a difficult time run very smoothly. When you were called by Hospice on that Sunday morning you graciously left the comfort of your home to make the trip to Lansing to bring Pat back to Belding. When I met with you at the parlor I was able to just let you know what Pat's wishes were and you just went with them. It takes a special person to do what you do and God will continue to bless you for your honesty and love that you give. It was a pleasure to meet you.

Our family would like to thank Mike and the entire staff for their professional and caring service during the loss of our dear Granny B. You were there to answer questions and to gently guide us as we celebrated and remembered her life. We appreciated your quiet calm and respect for our wishes as we said goodbye. Each member of the staff showed compassion and concern during every phase of the visitation and funeral service.
